3D Model Viewer

The INSCRIBE 3D Interactive Web Viewer is a WebGL 3D viewer based on 3DHOP (3D Heritage Online Presenter) [1] for basic 3D visualization and on the Cuneiform-WebGLViewer [2] for enhancing the legibility of signs by means of radiance scaling [3]. Both the frameworks employ the nexus [4] 3D format. The INSCRIBE 3D Interactive Web Viewer was also inspired by the Digital Epigraphy Toolbox [5] for the management of metadata information of the 3D models.

Features (under construction): On-line 3D model database of inscriptions, 3D rotation, zoom in/out, change lighting orientation, possibilty to cut sections and perform measurements on the 3D models, radiance scaling
